Since competing in the Georgia Sprint Kart Championship at 7-years-old, Sean has tested his skills in a number of different disciplines including the LMP3 class of the European Le Mans Series, winning the championship in 2017 after previously becoming the youngest driver to win in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship at the 2014 Oak Tree Grand Prix at Virginia International Raceway.

Sean has also previously raced in the GT Daytona class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the PC class of the United SportsCar Championship, won the IMSA Lites L1 and Sports Car Club of America’s Pro Formula Enterprises championships, competed in the Skip Barber Southern Series and raced stock cars in the United Auto Racing Association’s Stars and the United Speed Alliance Racing’s Pro Cup Series.

This Georgia-born racer has done almost everything from a runner-up finish in his LMPC debut at the 2013 Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, taking three trips to the prestigious 12 Hours of Sebring as well as accomplishing two wins in the Indy Lights series for an underfunded 8 Star Motorsports team, including a wire-to-wire victory at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, earning him a test opportunity with four-time Indianapolis 500 champion Chip Ganassi Racing.

Sean has racked up an impressive 82 wins, 137 podiums and 49 pole positions over the course of 225 career professional races including a win in the 2014 Lone Star Le Mans at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Sean most recently drove for Lexus in the IMSA Endurance Championship in 2018 and United Autosports on the European Le Mans circuit. He currently races Sprint Cars for Sig Sauer and Sippel Racing with an eye on the World of Outlaws in the near future.
